What can you expect?

The symposium will include a full day of panel discussions, global health initiative spotlights and professional networking around themes such as:

  • Providing culturally-competent medical care to underserved communities abroad
  • Broadening and sustaining global health service and research through interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaborations
  • Training the next generation of learners equipped to lead in the creation and advancement of health equity with a global lens.

A diverse mix of international and domestic global health and development experts, researchers, policy-makers, students, community members, and advocates will join us in imagining a way forward in the pursuit of global health equity, including speakers and panelists from ߣƵ, National Institutes of Health (NIH), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), World Health Organization/Pan American Health Organization (WHO/PAHO), the Andrew J. Young Foundation, the Task Force for Global Health, the Carter Center, and the Georgia Global Health Alliance.
